About Us

Stephanie

Co-founder, VP of Negotiation and Strategy | LinkedIn

This company is Stephanie’s passion project, and with good reason: from being the only female physicist in her college class, to now often being the only woman sitting at the negotiating table, she knows first-hand the gender imbalance that currently exists in the corporate world.  She is making it her mission to level the playing field and improve the negotiating power of women in business.

Stephanie has an impressive yet nontraditional background, which spans from discovering an underwater volcano while on an Antarctic research expedition, to being awarded 2 U.S. patents for inventing new microchannel heat exchanger coatings. Stephanie has also always been a passionate entrepreneur, winning the HYPE Entrepreneurship Award in 2010 as well as being included on Hartford Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” list in 2015.

Stephanie is a Yale certified negotiator and has spent the larger part of her career negotiating multimillion-dollar deals for Fortune 50 Companies.  She lives in CT with her husband and 2 beautiful daughters, and enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading philosophy, and listening to Tim Ferriss podcasts.

Julia

Co-founder, VP of Marketing and Brand | LinkedIn

Julia often jokes that she should have been a therapist, because almost everyone she meets opens up to her – from her closest friends, to the local technician fixing her air conditioning.  The truth is, Julia is a masterful listener, and anyone who meets her immediately feels comfortable and starts talking.  She takes the time to be quiet, absorb the world around her, and try and make sense of it all.  And that is what also makes her a successful marketer.

Julia started her career in NYC advertising, before moving back to CT to enter the corporate marketing world.  With an MBA from New York University and a business coaching certification from The Wharton School, Julia considers herself a “student for life,” and is passionate about continued learning to help both herself and her clients. She has won several awards, including a recognition for the advertising campaign for 9/11 documentary “The Flight That Fought Back” that aired on the Discovery Channel, and helped launch the very first Android phone for Verizon.

A creative mind with a love of writing, design, and music, Julia is a right-brained business woman with a type A passion for planning and organization.  Julia lives in CT with her husband and 7-year old daughter, and enjoys fitness, reading, and blogging.
